We recently attended a terrific networking breakfast at the Meadowlands Chamber. Close to 100 people attended and there was a great deal of catching up with old friends as well as meeting many new people. Meadowlands Regional Chamber is an active and robust organization with many networking opportunities, seminars, events and business resources.

Recently Ilene was instrumental in organizing a Reunion for the alumni of NJBiz New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business. Initially Ilene met with a few other past honorees to plan the first Alumni dinner to take place on September 16, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Woodbridge Hilton. Since 2006, NJ Biz has honored all of these 250 powerful and dynamic women as one of the top women in business in their respective years. In August Ilene facilitated a Strategic Planning Session for the New Jersey Ad Club Board of Directors. Ilene is a past president of the NJ Ad Club, a long time Executive and Board member and an inductee into the NJ Advertising Hall of Fame in 2008 for her dedication to the club and excellence in the NJ advertising community. The Strategic Planning Session focused on setting 3-4 major goals for the club to achieve during the upcoming year and the plans to implement those goals. Ilene will be a guest of the Board in October when she does a follow-up strategy review meeting.

Allen Linen Supply

We recently began working with Allen Linen Supply, a family owned commercial linen company that supplies NJ and NY restaurants, catering halls, golf and country clubs, assisted living facilities and universities with table linens, banquet cloths, napkins, chefs uniforms, as well as many other items needed to run such an establishment.

Herb and Donna Allen who own the company are two of the nicest people we have ever met and pride themselves on their quality products & selection, attention to details, excellent customer service and total honesty.

We welcome them and are looking forward to seeing the new truck wraps that we are designing out on the road on their 26 trucks and vans in a few months. We’re also excited to be developing an e-commerce website for their other business called Linens For Tables…an online company where small restaurants, caterers and party planners around the country will be able to buy their table linens direct from the manufacturer for a fraction of the cost they are probably paying right now.

Freehold Cartage Inc.

FCI has recently become a MarketShare client and we are very excited to be helping them build a brand new website. Our primary contacts, CFO Michelle Fareri-Wiebel and Mgr. of Information Technology, Nick Lucas, have been instrumental in helping us learn all about Freehold Cartage Inc., a specialized carrier serving hazardous and special waste transportation needs throughout the US and Canada for over 43 years. The family-owned company has the fourth generation busy at work learning the ins and outs of the business. We’re proud to welcome FCI to MarketShare.

Funny thing – Michelle and I met at a Sobel & Co, CPA, Executive Women’s Breakfast Program a few months ago and we immediately hit it off. Sally Glick, a Principal of The Firm and Chief Growth Strategist, who runs these fabulous programs, is a good friend of both Michelle and myself, making the connection even more special. Sobel & Co. is also a MarketShare client — small world!

Century 21 - Wessex Realty

After having a preliminary meeting with Sales Manager Jason Failla earlier this summer, we were pleased to be called by him to build a website and design some collateral material for a new real estate development they are representing. Century 21 - Wessex Realty, is the listing agent for elegant townhomes at Hidden Ridge at North Caldwell www.hiddenridgeatnorthcaldwell.com. Jason was truly a pleasure to work with — he got us the information we needed without delay and our design team was able to quickly build the website and have it live in time for the opening of the development in early July. It’s great having Jason and Century 21 - Wessex Realty on our client roster.
