Strategic Planning Sessions

The benefits of strategic planning are to build consensus with the top leadership, board and/or c-level team so that the goals for the future are set and implemented.

The end result of going through this half-day or full day planning session, plus overview summary and two follow-up meetings, is that everyone from the top down understands the purpose of the organization’s mission, delivers the mission and goals to the managers and staff below, lays the groundwork for improvement and enables the top leadership to have a yardstick by which to assess whether the goals are being met. The follow-up meetings keep everyone on target and can allow for a slight “change in course” if necessary.
